I would recommend a caravan on Limefitt Park to any body who appreciates a quiet, comfortable break. The pub on the site gave a welcoming and friendly service and excellent value for money on the food. We will definitely return.

The park was well set out, clean, tidy and good facilities. The accommodation was spot on, again clean and tidy, plenty of space. The second bedroom was small but adequate and there was plenty of storage in the main bedroom, living area and kitchen. The shower was excellent - hot and as powerful as you wanted. The children's play area is great and is enclosed by a fence - it's beside the river which I'm sure will be lovely in the summer. Although the park is around 3 miles out of Windermere, I would strongly recommend it.

Limefitt caravan park lived up to its expectations, a very peaceful and beautiful setting which made our holiday. Very relaxing which was just what we needed. The staff on site were very friendly and helpful.

The park was very clean and well looked after. It was in a very quiet area which was great for myself and my partner. No noisy kids running around. I would go there again for a quiet, relaxing weekend away. Great for walkers too!

This is the first time we have visited the Lake District, we have previously booked through Hoseasons and were not disappointed. The park was situated in the Cumbria mountains. The kids loved swimming in the river in the park. Our caravan was spotless, with a small welcoming pack of tea, coffee and milk which was a welcomed sight after the travel. The staff are very helpful in pointing out places to visit. My family loved this peaceful park and hoping to return very soon.

Limefitt Park is a hidden gem set in the beautiful Lake District amidst an oasis of green. A very quiet but clean site, the kids loved the stream to play in. We had a meal at the local pub on site which has recently been refurbished, it was stunning - and the meal was great. The whole family had a fantastic time, we will be back.

If you want a break in beautiful surroundings, with peace and quiet and comfort. We would highly recommend Limefitt Park, it's in a secluded location but just a short drive from everything that happens in the Lake District. Helpful staff and a nice pub on the site. First class, thank you Hoseasons.

Limefitt Park was a great destination. Slightly out of town, but suited us as a family. Everyone on the site was friendly and helpful. The caravan was of a very high standard. We hope to visit again soon.

The minute we arrived at the park we where sure that the standards where very high, really friendly staff, great layout of the site not on top of each other, outstanding views and a lovely pub with homemade food and reasonable prices. We cant wait to come back.

I cannot praise the park or the accommodation enough. The caravan was far better than expected - it was so roomy and had all the facilities needed for a very pleasant stay. Limefitt Park is a fantastic base for visiting various locations in the Lake District. The park itself has brilliant walks and views surrounding it. It was an ideal short holiday for my family, my 2 year old daughter had we loads of fun. We visited in September and the park was really relaxing and peaceful.

WOW! I would absolutely recommend this park to anybody wanting a relaxed, central base in the Lake District. The accommodation (we stayed in Superior 2 bed caravan) was fantastic, very clean and spacious. We will definitely return soon.

An excellent location, a well maintained park and the accommodation was immaculate and it was 1st class in the caravan. The park is well positioned and you can reach the main town within 5 minutes drive.

We had a brilliant holiday at this park - it was a safe place for my child to play and the caravans were really nice and clean. The park was perfect for us, not too big and nice and quiet. We have been recommending this park to all my friends already and we would definitely come back!!!

The accommodation was top notch! The caravan provided very high quality, clean and spacious accommodation - details such as a fridge, microwave, full size cooker plus a superb flat screen TV made this a home from home.

The park is only 10 minutess drive to the lake and Windermere. It is a very nice park, well kept and quiet, and if you have a dog there is a field for letting them off. There is a pub and shop on site and the caravan was lovely with lots of room, and had everything that I needed and was clean. I will be booking to go again!

Limefitt is a lovely park and our caravan was spotless. The park and the riverside were enjoyed by the children and the Haybarn Inn (on site) was enjoyed in the evening by the adults and children. The staff were always helpful and it is in a good location for a short drive to Bowness, Windermere and Ambleside.

Overall, our stay was excellent. We would come back and recommend the site to others. The one small way in which things could be improved would be to have a better choice of vegetarian meal in the bar (it wasn't possible to have either a salad or jacket potato in the evening and as a consequence there was only one meal that I could eat during the week.) We therefore only ate in there once and we would have used the facilities more if the menu had been wider.

A quiet and peaceful location, yet only a short distance from Windermere/Ambleside. Good high and low level walking right from the park. Our Superior 2 caravan was an excellent base to return to each evening - highly recommended.
